A group of Polish journalists visited the Albena resort yesterday for an information tour organized jointly with the tourism ministries of Poland and Bulgaria. The specialists were familiarized with the opportunities for summer and congress tourism, the excellent natural resources for balneotherapy and rehabilitation, as well as the conditions for sports camps and competitions. "We tried to present in the best way the Bulgarian Black Sea coast as a safe and affordable destination for guests from Eastern Europe and in particular from Poland. We have a long tradition in these markets, which we hope to strengthen and further develop through joint efforts", said Krassimira Stoyanova, Executive Director of Albena Tour, who welcomed the delegation. After the thematic presentation at the five-stars Maritim Paradise Blue Hotel, she said that the media representatives were very impressed by Albena's efforts to offer a sustainable tourism product, following the Green Mission of the company. "The protection of biodiversity, cleanliness of the beach and sea water, investments in renewable energy sources, the use of mineral water and our own ecological production of food and beverages, smart waste management and social responsibility are just some of the conditions we meet, taking our decisions. This is what impressed the guests from Poland the most, who from the distance of their experience with hundreds of other resorts around the world shared that such an attitude to the business model is extremely rare", she concluded.
