deThe 5-star Maritim Hotel & SPA Paradise Blue in Albena Resort won a prestigious international award from the German tour operator DER touristik. The Red Star Quality Award 2022 is awarded for achieving the highest quality of hotel service, taking into account guest ratings, guest complaints as well as the tour operator's own internal surveys as the basis.

This is high recognition because it is given mainly on the basis of customer satisfaction, and this is the most objective measure of success. DER Touristik Group, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, is the tourism division of REWE Group. It offers long-term and package tours to 179 countries worldwide, including seaside holidays, family holidays, city breaks, sightseeing tours, river and ocean cruises, trips to sporting events and others. Located on the beachfront, Maritim Paradise Blue is the second 5-star hotel in Albena Resort, built in 2017. The design, developed by French design studio Borella, recreates the feeling of the immensity of the sky and sea through clean, bright and open forms, high ceilings, French windows and natural materials. In 2019, the hotel became part of the Maritim chain, adding German precision to every detail to the guest experience. At the end of 2022, the hotel won another prestigious award, topping the annual ranking for Bulgaria on HolidayCheck.de, the largest travel portal for German-speaking countries
