"A Million Dreams" is a gala performance tracing the evolution of the musical genre over the past 12 years on the stage of Varna State Opera. Director Srebrina Sokolova transforms excerpts from iconic musicals into a unique theatrical and musical experience. Led by Maestro Stratsimir Pavlov, the orchestra, soloists, and ballet will tell the story of the genre through audience favorites from "West Side Story," "Love Never Dies," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Grease," and more.

Featuring: The Orchestra, Chorus, and Ballet of Varna State Opera.

This emotional performance will transport the audience to a lavish ball where the main "protagonist" is the timeless and captivating music of Johann Strauss II. Known as "The Waltz King," the composer authored over 500 waltzes, polkas, and marches, significantly contributing to the dance's popularity in 19th-century Vienna.

Cuban Heartbeat Orchestra is a Berlin-based group that blends traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms with modern jazz arrangements. Led by pianist Daniel Stawinski, the ensemble is known for its energetic performances, regularly playing at the famous "Zigzag" jazz club in Berlin. The lineup features musicians from Cuba, Germany, and other countries, ensuring an authentic Latin jazz sound.
The band is popular among dance and jazz enthusiasts alike due to its high-energy music.

Musical performances by Nikol Nikolaeva and Ivan Yordanov

Nikol and Ivan are prominent graduates of the "Dobri Hristov" National School of Arts in Varna, achieving significant success in the fields of folklore and instrumental music.

Nikol’s vocal performances are focused on the folk arts. As a student at the music school, she has received numerous awards in folklore competitions.

Ivan Yordanov is a bagpipe (gaida) player, a first-prize laureate, and a member of chamber instrumental groups. He is known for his solo performances, such as "Dryanovska Rachenitsa" and "Gurbetchiysko Horo."
