Swimming pools in Albena resort are cleaned every night. Therefore, access after 19:00 is not allowed.

The Bulgarian currency is called LEV, which is made up of 100 stotinki. All payments are made in the national currency. The banknotes are to the value of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 leva and the coins - 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 stotinki and 1 and 2 leva. Fixed exchange rate: 1 Euro = 1.95583 Lev. It is recommended that you exchange your money at the designated exchange offices, at the hotel reception, at the airport or at banks.

Credit cards
In every one of the hotels and restaurants in Albena Resors, as well as at car rentals and shopping centers, you can use the main international credit cards. Information on the accepted credit card types can be found on the outside (stickers) of shops and hotels.

From all reception desks, you can make a phone call to any country or city. The price is 3.00 leva/minute.

The mains voltage is 220 V, the frequency is 50 Hz.
Sockets are EU standard.

We recommend keeping your valuables, money and documents in the safe. In case of loss, you can contact the hotel reception.

We encourage a healthy smoke-free vacation. According to Bulgarian legislation, smoking in hotel rooms and in indoor bars and restaurants is not allowed.

The post office is located across the Central Administrative building and has opening hours from 08:00 to 17:00. You can drop your cards and letters at the hotel reception or place them in the post boxes in the resort.

The banks are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00. It is important to have your passport in case you would like to exchange currency or pay a check. Some hotels at the resort also have ATMs.

The pharmacy is open daily from 8.00 to 20.00 h.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available at reception and the lobby bar of each hotel, as well as in all open public areas in Albena Resort, including at the beach.
For all hotel guests in Albena, the Internet is free of charge. The service is with speed up to 1 Mbps.

During the summer season, the shops in Albena Resort are open daily, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Guests of the resort have free access to all beaches. The price of each room includes one beach umbrella and two sun beds.

The local time zone is GMT +3 - Eastern European summer time (+1 hour after Central Europe).

Water in faucets is drinkable, however it has high chlorine content, therefore it's recommended to drink bottled water.
