Accordion Night in Albena

Albena Resort becomes the stage for a unique summer experience with classical, ethno and rock accordion sounds.

Albena Resort will host a major musical event starting on 15 August, Saturday, at 21:00 on Ganvie Beach. The formations “Accordion Dreams” and “Ethno Sphere” will present their joint concert, promising to become one of the highlights of the resort’s summer cultural season.

The choice of Albena as the location for the event is no coincidence. The emblematic natural beach setting by the sea offers the perfect atmosphere for a project that brings together classical music, variety and folklore in a modern interpretation.

The programme ranges from Mozart to Piazzolla by the sea. The audience in Albena will enjoy a rich and diverse repertoire, including classical masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, tango and variety pieces by Astor Piazzolla and Tony Murena, as well as original compositions by the musicians themselves.

A combination of magical sounds, performed by an expanded line-up of the formation “Accordion Dreams”, founded in early 2024, will immerse resort guests in a special repertoire prepared for Albena.

Alongside the core members of the group – Sevdalin Simeonov, Deyan Dzhenkov, Emil Halachev and Galin Momchev – their colleagues from “Ethno Sphere” will join them in Albena:

Yavor Radev – percussion
Plamen Petrov – bass guitar
Adriyan Stoychev – solo guitar
Yanitsa Halacheva – vocals

The musicians share that the combination of traditional accordion sound with keyboard, modern guitars and powerful percussion will give the classical works a contemporary and dynamic character.

The concert aims to show the unexpected versatility of the accordion here, in front of the cosmopolitan audience of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

The event is free of charge and open to all guests of Albena Resort who want to spend an unforgettable summer evening under the stars, filled with quality music.
