Albena became an excellent attestation from Germany – the European Champion of the European Football Tournament
for Girls Under 17 by UEFA

Albena was marked excellent as a football destination by Germany – the European Champion from the European Tournament for Girls under 17 years old of UEFA, which took place in may in the restort.

After every UEFA tournament all the participants evaluate by several criteria the hosts: accommodation, food, training camp, transport, quality of the stadiums, medical care and other organized activities.

According to Jessica Behr – a representative of the German Football Association – the facilities provided by Albena – the 5-star comfort of Flamingo Grand Hotel and SPA, are excellent – big rooms, medical and meeting rooms for all the teams and a possibility to accommodate all the participants in the same hotel and to feel welcome there; friendly and polite staff; a possibility to have the food up to their special requests and diets etc. The grade of the German team for the training fields is positive – the players and their trainers are pleased with the facilities in both Albena and Obrochishte. They are really happy with stadium Albena 1, where several matches and the final had been played. Their opinion is that the stadiums are excellent and are up to all European standards.

After the good job Albena did as a host of the European Football Tournament for Girls under 17 in may, in September the European Resort of sport was a host to one more UEFA Tournament – the friends’ championship for boys to 15 years old. Albena can already boast itself, because it is going to host even more UEFA Tournaments in 2020. The resort is trying its best to enlarge and make better its sport facilities and this way to become a partner of more and more European sport organizations and tournaments.
