Albena Resort celebrates its birthday with a dazzling cultural programme and star concerts
The beloved holiday resort marks another anniversary with large-scale art events.
Albena Resort officially announces the culmination of its “Cultural Summer 2026”, dedicated to the official birthday of the resort on 24 August. The festive day will turn the Black Sea resort into an open stage for art, music and dance, offering its guests unforgettable emotions right by the sea.
The birthday celebrations will begin with colourful parades featuring different ensembles and international artists. The grand highlight of the evening on 24 August will be the spectacular Sunset Bossa Nova concert with Vesela Morova.
Vesela Morova is known for her love of Brazilian music. Together with the talented musicians Martin Denev – piano, Alexander Lekov – bass, Emil Pehlivanov – drums and Vladimir Karparov – saxophone, Vesela will bring back the gentle, refined emotion and swaying rhythm with which bossa nova and samba enchant every soul searching for beauty.
Brazilian music brings opposites together in harmony – joy and nostalgia, euphoria and ease, the introverted and the extroverted. The audience will hear both familiar and lesser-known songs written by Tom Jobim, Sérgio Mendes, Luiz Bonfá, Jorge Ben and other iconic Brazilian composers.
The concert will be combined with an exclusive cabaret show featuring ballet Projekt 360, creating a unique atmosphere by the waves. The evening will end with the traditional cutting of a large festive cake and spectacular illuminations lighting up the sky above the bay.

As tradition has it, on the holiday itself, 24 August, the resort will also officially launch early bookings for the next summer season.
