Belogradchik Wind Orchestra in Albena
ALBENA RESORT, 21 July 2026 – The renowned Belogradchik Wind Orchestra will visit the Black Sea coast with an open-air concert full of festive spirit. Residents and guests of Albena Resort and the region will have the opportunity to enjoy the orchestra’s rich repertoire and marching rhythms on 22 July 2026, Wednesday, at 18:30.
The concert will take place in the area in front of the five-star Maritim Paradise Blue Hotel.
The Belogradchik Wind Orchestra was founded in its current formation in 1979 as the “Children and Youth Wind Orchestra” at the “Razvitie” community cultural centre. Over more than 45 years, the ensemble has established itself as an important part of Bulgarian musical culture.
The orchestra is a laureate of the 5th and 6th Republican Festivals and a proud winner of gold medals. Over the years, the formation has performed on dozens of stages across the country, including the prestigious “Diko Iliev” wind orchestra festivals in Montana and Oryahovo, as well as in Vidin, Velingrad, Botevgrad, Sofia, Vratsa, Krivodol and Bregovo.
The musicians also have extensive international experience, with successful guest performances in Norway, Serbia, including Knjaževac and Belgrade, Greece and North Macedonia, where they took part in the international folklore festival “Razigrano Horo”.
Since the very foundation of the ensemble, its artistic director and conductor has been Mr Angel Dzhuninski, whose inspiration and professionalism stand behind the orchestra’s success.
