Albena’s Cultural Summer 2026
Get ready for an unforgettable cultural summer. In 2026, Albena presents a rich and diverse programme combining classical ballet, pop and rock concerts, dance performances and impressive exhibitions. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy outstanding art and entertainment right by the sea.
Classical elegance under the open sky
The cultural season begins on 30 June with “The Music of Italy”, performed by soloists from the State Opera – Varna.
One of the major highlights in July is Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s world-famous ballet “Swan Lake”, which will be presented on 20 July at the Ganvie Open-Air Stage.
Pop, rock and contemporary sounds
Fans of contemporary music can look forward to a series of memorable summer evenings. Romanian pop star Mihai Trăistariu will take the stage on 11 July, followed by Greek performer Iordanis Agapitos on 18 July.
On 8 August, Stefan Valdobrev and The Usual Suspects will bring their distinctive sound and atmosphere to Albena. Hip-hop fans can also enjoy a live performance by 100 Kila on 22 August.
Exhibitions and dance experiences
The cultural programme also includes the exhibition “Tales of Gold and Silver”, opening on 13 July at the Paradise Blue Hotel. The exhibition will present valuable historical treasures.
Dance enthusiasts should not miss the Sensation Days bachata event on 4 July, as well as the passionate “Four for Tango” performance on 26 September.
Special musical evenings in August
August will be filled with remarkable voices and beautiful melodies. On 1 August, audiences can enjoy the musical “A Million Dreams”.
A special evening with The Three Bulgarian Tenors will take place on 19 August, while the Sunset Bossa Nova concert, combined with a cabaret show, will create a distinctive seaside atmosphere on 24 August.
Cultural highlights continue in September
The programme continues into September. On 5 September, the Cuban Heartbeat Orchestra will bring vibrant Cuban rhythms to Albena.
The concert programme “Sea Stories” is also included in the cultural calendar, with the date to be announced.
Once again, Albena brings together music, dance, visual art and stage performances in a diverse programme created for unforgettable summer evenings by the sea.
