Grand opening of Maritim Hotel Paradise Blue Albena 5*

Glamorous Party celebrated the grand opening of the first Maritim hotel in Eastern Europe

Paradise Blue in Albena became part of the prestigious German chain
 

The first Eastern European hotel part of the Maritim chain was officially opened on XX of July evening. The 5-star hotel "Paradise Blue" in Albena resort, which opened in 2017, meets all the standards of the luxury German brand. The symbolic ribbon was cut by the Maritim chain owner - Dr Monika Gomolla and the executive director of Albena - Krassimir Stanev.

"Albena is among the favorite places for tourists from Bulgaria and abroad", Deputy Minister of Tourism Lyuben Kanchev said in his speech for the opening. "It is clear how much has been achieved in the direction of ecology and protection of the environment", he added, highlighting the advantages of Albena's sustainable development policy.

The German chain Maritim celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The same anniversary celebrates also Albena itself. On this occasion, the owner of the chain Maritim, Dr. Monika Gomolla, wished successful collaboration for the two "world tourist names". She did not conceal her fascination with the resort and the positive expectations for the future of the new partnership.

Guests of the event, apart from Dr. Gomolla and Lyuben Kunchev, were: Marittim International Executive - Director Petar Venel and Maritim Paradise Blue Interior Designer - Christine Borela. They admired everything they saw - the stylish hotel complex, the delicious varied food, the positive energy that the hotel staff and, last but not least, the preserved nature in the entire holiday village of Albena.

Maritim is a German chain of luxury hotel complexes. Part of it is a total of 44 hotels in Germany, Egypt, China, Malta, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Spain, the Asian part of Turkey, and officially this year also in Bulgaria. All of their hotels are rated four or five stars and meet the international high quality standards. Their reviews in the tourist product portals TripAdvisor and HolidayCheck are more than excellent - hotels have been awarded many awards for the most popular and beloved destinations of thousands of tourists around the world. The total bed capacity run by Maritim is 15,000 beds.

The Maritim Paradise Blue Hotel in Albena started operation in 2017. It was built on the site of the old hotels "Dorostor" and "Kamelia", entirely preserving the architectural style of the stairwell construction. It is also the winner of the "Building of the Year" category in "Hotels and Holiday Complexes" awards in 2017.

Apart from the interior designers from Borella Art design, the authors of the "Flying away" concept used in the interior and exterior design of the entire complex, leading role in the creation of a quality architectural environment have arch. Vesela Petkova, arch. Svetoslav Kolarova and eng. Yordan Yordanov from Albena Design. Balanced spaces and embedded natural materials are developed by world-known leaders such as Porcelanosa, Italgranit, Kettal, Collnet, Roche Bobois.
