HEAD Bulgaria celebrate their 25-year birthday

With a great tennis tournament for amateurs in Albena, HEAD will celebrate 25 years in Bulgaria

The giant, providing professional equipment for athletes in several areas, chose the holiday village as a place with the best conditions for tennis in Bulgaria, combined with the opportunity for complete relaxation and a memorable game among nature.

The amateur tournament will be held in the period May 29-30 in the perfect and professional conditions that Tennis Center Albena provides, namely:

Perfectly-maintained, modern tennis center, equipped with 22 outdoor and 3 indoor tennis courts. The equipment and facilities meet the requirements of the International Tennis Federation for organizing international tennis tournaments. The resort offers professional tennis coaches and excellent conditions for organizing tournaments, camps and competitions of various types. Among the main partners of Albena is Dreisam Tennis Academy - a German tennis school for professional and hobby players.

All outdoor tennis courts offer:

• red clay surface, type Chamotte
• lighting for evening classes;

Tournament information:

The tournament is organized entirely for amateur players. Men play in two age groups: up to 45 and 45+. For all other groups - women individually, men doubles, women doubles, mixed doubles - there are no age restrictions.

Free practice for all participants (men and women) starts on the 28th May at 2 p.m.

The draw for the individual formats will take place on the 29th (Saturday) at 9 am in the presence of all participants of the tournament. The matches will be played on red clay in the format of a normal single set.

The competition program:

• single men - May 29 / Saturday /, 10:00
• single women - May 29 / Saturday /, 11:30 am
• men doubles - May 29 / Saturday /, 16.00
• women doubles - May 29 / Saturday /, 16.00
• mixed doubles - May 30 / Sunday /, 11:00

Awards:

• 1 place singles – tennis rocket of choice from HEAD
• 2nd place singles - sneakers of your choice from HEAD
• semi-finalists - tennis outfit from HEAD
• doubles - 1st place Voucher from HEAD for BGN 100.00.
• doubles - 2nd place Voucher from HEAD for BGN 60.00.
• semi-finalists - Voucher from HEAD for BGN 30.00

Participation fees:

• singles (men and women) - BGN 25.00 per person;
• doubles (men, women and mixed) - BGN 40.00 per couple.

Additional conditions:

• when a player applies for participation in two formats, the fee would be - BGN 40.00.
• when a player applies for participation in three formats, the fee would be - BGN 50.00.
• if a player is accommodated in Albena Resort, the fee is reduced by 25%

Entertainment:

On Saturday night we expect all participants on a buffet party with a raffle with prizes provided by HEAD of course! If you are not among the tennis players accommodated in Albena, you are required to pay BGN 25.00 per person.

Deadline for application:

• until 14:00 on Friday - 28.05.2021 for singles;
• until 12:00 on 29.05.2021 for doubles men, doubles women and mixed doubles.
