deSeptember starts with a full calendar of sporting events in Albena Resort, declared in 2019 as the first European Resort of Sport. On 2.09 the Balkan Table Tennis Championships will start, followed by the 19th edition of the field-day of the Energy Workers in Bulgaria. In the middle of the month, the State Military Championships will be held, as well as two competitions for Ministry of Interior employees - in table tennis and tennis. Next up are a couple of field-days - for metalworkers in Bulgaria and for notaries. The month will end with two international events, including the Balkan Men's Boxing Championship and the International Tennis Federation's World Tennis Masters tournament, as well as the State Team Bridge Championship.
Central to the month's events calendar is the 32nd Annual Congress of the European Childhood Obesity Group on 7-10 September. From 10.09 to 15.09 the State Institute of Public Administration will hold the traditional Summer Academy for young leaders with potential for professional development in public administration. Scientists from several continents participating in the Sixth International Scientific Conference of the Hermann Minkowskii Institute for Foundational Studies will also meet in Albena. The festival "Sea Folklore Holiday" will bring together fans of traditional Bulgarian music and dance in the period 15-17.09. Several symposiums of national associations, team building and trade meetings are planned as well.
