Special Easter program for the refugees from Ukraine

A special Easter program for the refugees from Ukraine will be organized by Albena Resort. On Maundy Thursday the employees of the complex, together with their guests, will take part in a workshop for painting eggs. On Holy Saturday those who wish will be able to participate in the preparation of ritual breads and Easter cakes. "On Sunday morning we will visit the festive Easter liturgy in the church of Holy Assumption in the village of Obrochishte. Traditionally, at the end we will share a festive lunch with traditional dishes. Each child will receive a personal gift from the management of the complex. The day will finish on the beach with a colorful kite festival", said Krassimira Stoyanova, executive director of Albena Tour.

"We are happy that despite the difficulties that have been experienced by the refugees, our friends from Ukraine are feeling well in Albena. We managed to help them to feel Bulgaria hospitable and supportive”, said Marinela Tsaneva, director at the complex. According to her, currently in several of the company's hotels are accommodated a total of 818 Ukrainian citizens, 268 of whom are children. To ensure their safety, enhanced security has been organized, fire safety measures have been taken. All regulatory regimes required by the law are coordinated and implemented together with the state bodies. In the resort are provided conditions for online and face-to-face training for school children. The Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital "Medica-Albena" is preparing a special rehabilitation program for children of different age groups, using the healing mineral water from the springs of Albena. Most of the refugees have already joined the on-site Bulgarian language courses, and every Saturday many of them clean the park spaces on their own initiative.

During the week before Easter in Albena from Ukraine is expected to arrive a group of professional gymnasts, who will continue to conduct their sports training using the base of the complex. There are also mass sports facilities - football and volleyball on the beach, table tennis and badminton in the indoor sports hall, fitness on the Cross Fit playgrounds, as well as swimming in "Dobrudja" swimming pool.
