ALBENA RESORT — The symbol of classical dance, “Swan Lake”, will be performed for the first time in Albena on 20 July 2026 at 20:00 in Perunika Hall. Residents and guests of the Black Sea resort will have the rare opportunity to experience the world’s most performed and beloved ballet.
The production is the work of Honoured Artist of Russia and chief ballet master Sergey Bobrov, whose performances regularly receive ovations on some of the most prestigious stages in France and England. The costumes and impressive stage design were created jointly by Sergey Bobrov and Asya Stoimenova.
Respect for the classics and the original libretto. Sergey Bobrov’s production is marked by deep respect for tradition, elegance and outstanding technical mastery. It closely follows the choreography based on the original libretto written by the brothers Modest and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
The dramatic story, Tchaikovsky’s timeless music and the brilliant ballet compositions turn this event into one of the highlights of the summer cultural season in the region. Sergey Bobrov is among the most influential names in contemporary classical ballet. He is a graduate of the Moscow Choreographic School and the ballet master faculty of the Moscow Choreographic Institute.
