Ensemble Chinary presents Welcome To Bulgaria

Ensemble Chinary is a professional troupe created by Assen Pavlov in 1993 , formed by professional performers of Bulgarian folk dances, music and songs. In its history, the Chinari Ensemble has participated in over 6,000 concerts, TV productions and performances, 360 of which are in the United States. The ensemble has toured in Moldova, Greece, USA, Italy, Spain, Macedonia, Germany, Serbia, Romania, South Korea, France, England and Taiwan.

Some of the emblematic performances of the troupe are: "The Magic of Dance", "The Thracians", "We the Bulgarians", "Mystical Rhythm" and others.

In 2015 the ensemble was awarded by the union artists of Bulgaria with golden icar.

In 2016 ''Chinary'' and Asen Pavlov were awarded by the union artists of Bulgaria with crystal lire for the show "We , The Bulgarians".

In 2017 Asen Pavlov was given ''Golden Century - the sign of king Simeon the great''. He was rewarded for the development of the Bulgarian culture on May 24th (The day of Bulgarian culture and Slavic alphabet).

In 2018, Asen Pavlov and Kaloyan Pavlov were awarded by the Association of Choreographers in Bulgaria - "GOLDEN MUSE 2018" in the category "Choreography in Bulgarian dance folklore" for the performance "Mystical Rhythm". In the same year, for overall contribution to the promotion of the intangible cultural heritage, the National Section of CIOFF Bulgaria awarded the Chinari ensemble with a plaque "Golden Rocker".

At their jubilee performance "25 years Chinari Ensemble", Asen Pavlov and Chinari Ensemble received a badge of honor from the President of the Republic of Bulgaria - Rumen Radev for overall contribution to the preservation and promotion of Bulgarian folk art.
