The "Albena" holiday resort has taken the initiative to launch a daily seawater quality monitoring campaign in the complex area. The Chief Sanitary Inspector, Dr. Tamara Stoykova, will take samples that will be sent for analysis to an independent laboratory. The presence of Escherichia coli and enterococci will be checked, and the data will be published on the complex's website and on social networks. The aim of this preventive activity is to avoid any speculation about the quality of the seawater, so that tourists can bathe in peace without worrying about their health.

The management of the complex informs you, based on joint research with Trakia University - Stara Zagora, that the current results of the water analyzes are as follows:

  • Gergana Beach:
    • Intestinal enterococci: < 1/100 cfu/100ml
    • Escherichia coli: < 1/100 cfu/100ml
