Albena Resort has launched a daily monitoring of the cleanliness of the sea water in the aquatory of the complex. Samples will be taken by the chief sanitary inspector Dr. Tamara Stoykova and will be sent for analysis to an independent laboratory. The presence of Escherichia coli and Enterococcus will be tested, and the data will be published on the resort's website and social media accounts. The aim of the preventive action is to avoid any speculation about how clean the sea water is and holidaymakers can bathe freely in it without worrying about their health.
The initiative is in addition to the measures taken by the Regional Health Authorities, which are monitoring on a weekly basis. According to the management of Albena Resort, this is not enough to keep tourists well informed and secure.
