Grill Master Chef of Albena was chosen
8 teams of Albena chefs competed for the title of Grill Master Chef Albena 2019 this Saturday on top of their professional feast (10.08 - St. Lawrence Day - Patron of Chefs). The prestigious award went to the team of Manol Mishnov (Ralitsa Superior Restaurant), Yassen Ivanov (Ralitsa Aquaclub-Vita Park) and Penka Dobreva (Kom Restaurant). The team of Boryana, Nona and Green Forest ranked second. Third were the representatives of Flamingo Bistro and Montgolfie Restaurant - Maritim Hotel Paradise Blue.
"The Olympic principle is important here: participation is important. More importantly, you, the guests, are satisfied - you are the ultimate winners, because you enjoyed barbecue specials and good music all night long,” the event leaders announced from the stage shortly before the big winners were announced.
Throughout the evening, the eight teams prepared barbeque specialties that impressed hundreds of guests at the complex. It was the guests who determined the final winners by voting. The winner's prize is a set of branded knives, a statuette and a diploma to remind them of an emotional evening. It was presented by Atanaska Belyakova - Deputy Director of Operation in Albena AD.
The good mood of the guests was taken care of Sha-sha and the band - country musicians who tried to create the typical Southern atmosphere. Many dances, eternal hits and positive emotions were brought by the band with their concert that lasted more than an hour.
Grill Master Chef Albena is organized for the second time and it attracted a lot of interest last year. It is part of the rich cultural and event calendar of the holiday village of Albena, where every Saturday is a concert time and every Friday is for Cinema on the Grass. This Friday, the movie - The Florida Project will be presented by director Sean Baker. On Saturday, various musicians and bands will lead the audience on Journey Through Time with the eternal hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s of the last century. The culmination of Albena's cultural calendar is August 24, when the holiday village will celebrate its 50th anniversary, and the stage at the Dobrudja Hotel will feature musicians from the Sofia National Opera and Ballet with the performance Mamma Mia.
