A departmental laboratory for water testing has been set up in Albena Resort. It will monitor and control the quality of drinking water, raw mineral water from the three springs of the complex, as well as that in the swimming pools. Its activities are going to be expanded to include testing of waste water and that in the adjoining sea area. In addition to operational monitoring, the laboratory will also carry out analyses in the event of plumbing accidents.
"The purpose of this investment is to provide even better protection of the health and safety of Albena's guests. By tracking the physical and chemical indicators of the water at a given sampling point, we will also monitor the activities of our employees from the relevant sectors, to ensure that they conscientiously perform their duties to meet regulatory requirements. We will also create an internal database of measured indicators that will provide temporal traceability and long-term analysis capabilities," said Dr. Tamara Stoykova, sanitary inspector at Albena JSCo. She added that with the new acquisition, the company once again declares its commitment to protecting the health of guests and employees of the complex, as well as the sustainable management of natural resources.
At the beginning of April the company's CEO Krassimir Stanev, accompanied by Marinela Tsaneva - Director of Operations, Dr. Tamara Stoykova and the CEO of the subsidiary Eco Agro JSCo, held a working meeting with the Rector of Trakia University in Stara Zagora Prof. Dr. Dobri Yarkov. During the visit the two sides also discussed other areas of cooperation such as joint projects in the field of food, internship programs, advertising and information campaigns, etc.
