New terrarium with exotic animals in Albena Resort

Published on 03 07 2023

More than 70 species of exotic animals lived in the new terrarium in Albena Resort. Located on an area of over 1000 sq. m. in the building of the Cultural and Information Centre, the new attraction presents rare representatives of the fauna that arrived from distant lands. Among them are snakes such as the black mamba from central and southern Africa, the king cobra from southern Asia, the continental taipan from the deserts of Australia and the reticulated python, which is considered the largest snake on the planet after the anaconda. Some of the inhabitants are also the argus varan from New Guinea, the Siamese crocodile from the island of Borneo, listed in the world's red book of protected species, the spectacled caiman and dozens of others.

The terrarium is open daily from 09:30 to 22:30, with prices starting from BGN 6.00. There is also a contact area with small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs, which have also become a children's favorite at the resort. The interest of the older ones, on the other hand, is attracted by a special selection of parrots, which can be viewed up close.
